Classes and Workshops

Classes can be booked online, in the studio or by phone. The times and content of each class is shown on our website, in our weekly newsletter, in our printed Class Programme and on social media as applicable.

Classes must be paid for at time of booking. Only full payment will guarantee your place. Prices are per person.

Craft Arena's Policy for class and workshop cancellations is::

  • if you cancel more than 10 days prior to the class, a full refund will be given
  • If you cancel 10 days or fewer prior to the class date, you will receive a full refund if we are able to fill that space
  • If we cannot fill the space, no refund will be made.
  • We sometimes offer the opportunity to place a deposit for classes. If you choose this option, we will contact you a few weeks before the date needed for full payment using the email address you supply at checkout, or by phone if you have booked in the studio. If payment is not received within 7 days, you will forfeit your deposit and that space offered to other customers.

While we try hard not to cancel a class, this is sometimes inevitable due to circumstances beyond our control or if numbers do not meet our minimum requirements. If this does happen, you will be given as much notice as possible and a full refund given.

Materials are included in the price of the class unless otherwise stated.

A requirements list may be issued for some classes, if there is anything on the list you do not have, we may be able to lend it to you.

Tea and coffee will be available during the class. If you are attending a full day class, you are welcome to bring your own lunch to eat in the studio or the Village grounds, or visit the Tiptree Tea rooms to purchase food.

Returns Policy

While Craft Arena make every effort to provide you with the highest quality service, we appreciate that sometimes things can go wrong. If this happens, please contact us for a Returns Code Reference (RCR) and details of how and where to return your goods.

Craft Arena's Returns Policy is simple:

  • If any of our products arrives damaged, we will replace it at our cost or provide you with a refund.
  • If, on receipt of your goods, you decide that it is not what you wanted, you are welcome to contact us for an RCR and Returns details. In this case, however, you will be liable for the costs of return postage and postage on any replacement goods.

Consumer Rights Act Under the Consumer Rights Act & Alternative Dispute Resolution Regulations which came into effect in October 2015, online retailers are required to inform consumers of the existence of the ODR, an interactive platform that enables consumers, retailers and alternative dispute resolution providers to handle cross-border e-commerce disputes online instead of head to court to settle. The ODR service can be found at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/?event=main.home.show
