About Craft Arena
I set up Craft Arena to provide embroidery and textile art supplies to artists and embroiderers including materials and items I use in my own work.
I enjoy needlework and creative design of all kinds and have recently completed a City & Guilds Certificate in Embroidery Craft and Design. I am now working towards my Diploma. I am on the committee of Basildon Stitching Club, which is the Basildon branch of the Essex Handicrafts Association and, although no longer involved due to other commitments, I helped set up the BBWCVS Arts & Culture Forum. I have a great interest in art, history and archaeology, from which I get a lot of my inspiration.
I am really looking forward to sharing my skills to others by holding craft and design workshops, and inviting celebrated textile artists along to share their expertise.
I would like to grow Craft Arena into a centre where local textile artists can showcase and sell their work, as well as providing the inspiration and supplies for you to create your own works of textile art.
